There’s a slight catch: Audible doesn’t offer any free books to download. But there are plenty that you can to stream, and you don’t even need to be an Audible subscriber to.
The Bobiverse series 6 19%. Lord Of The Rings 5 16%. Ready Player One 6 19%. The Stand 5 16%. A Short History of Nearly Everything 4 13%. The Count of Monte Cristo 4 13%. World War Z 4 13%. Dark Tower Series 3 9%. HOWEVER, out of those top 10 the only one I haven't read/listened to is The Count of Monte Cristo!.
2)The Fireman by Joe Hill. About the Audiobook: Written by the son of Stephen King, this book is certainly on par with most of King's (horrific) masterpieces. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, The Fireman is a nerve-wracking horror on the worldwide epidemic of spontaneous combustion that is blowing off mankind to ashes.
OP doesn't mean what good on Audible, they're asking what fantasy books are on Audible Plus, not ones that require a audible book credit. Shards of Honour by Lois McMaster Bujold and several of its sequels are on Audible Plus. The author is well-respected in sci-fi realm and this is her best work. I also recently enjoyed Planetfall by Emma Newman.
Not the best narrator ever, but the quality of the story more than makes up for it. N0S4A2 by Joe Hill. Modern day Horror with some fantasy elements, top-tier narration. The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. The first 2 books are kind of rough in terms of audio quality, but it really picks up and James Marsters IS Harry Dresden. Battle Mage. Battle Mage introduces Falco Dante, the son of a madman, and his world of warriors, dragons, and magic. Falco struggles to keep up with his classmates at the Academy of War, and everyone doubts his strength and capability. But internally, Falco is battling something much larger: an unsettling power.
1) The Dutch House by Ann Patchett, narrated by Tom Hanks. Add to library. Perfectly narrated by the iconic voice of Tom Hanks, The Dutch House traces the life of Danny Conroy. After a series of tragic events, siblings Danny and Maeve are kicked out of the glamorous house their father had bought several years earlier, the titular Dutch House.
